Range includes 10, 20, 40, 70 and 120 ton meter, fixed boom and knuckle boom cranes designed for marine environment applications and offshore operations. These are designed to comply with classification society requirements and are fully load tested in the factory.

Petrel has custom-designed and manufactured a wide range of A-Frames and lifting equipment devices depending on the customer’s requirements, such as operating in various sea states, swell compensation, man riding units, retrieval of ROV’s and lowering and raising of scientific instruments, different solutions are available. Units, if required, are designed and manufactured to class approval.

Our hydraulically driven cable winch range includes boom, general purpose, cargo, mooring and towline winches, with or without guiding gear. They offer low maintenance features, including self-lubrication in the larger models. The range accommodates pulls from 3t to 50t. Hydraulic power packs and control gear can be part of the supply.

We have available extensive range of chain type and combination anchor winches. The Standard Anchor Winch models cater for chain sizes from 16mm to 40mm. The Petrel Combination Anchor Winch range is a combination of an Anchor Winch and a Wire Rope Winch or a Capstan. The models range from a 1,2 ton pull to a 9,9 ton pull.

These winches cater for a variety of requirements and use electronic core cables. Sliprings are mounted on the shafts.

The Petrel Horizontal/Vertical Capstan is a hydraulically powered general purpose winch with a horizontal/vertical warping head. These range from a 1,5 ton to a 4.6 ton pull.

The Petrel Linehauler is a hydraulically powered winch. Petrel Line Haulers range from a 2 ton to a 4 ton pull. Control is by means of a hydraulic control valve, which allows for control in both directions.
